What the sheet felt like after it left Suite 8

My 6 and 7 used to feel like two different companies. After the neighbor match, the 7 just continues the 6. I stopped guessing which iron would jump.

Brought a “matched” set from a big-box build. Helene’s sheet showed the 5-iron 16 cycles off. They replaced the tube. I did not believe a number could feel that obvious until the next Saturday at Reflection Ridge.

Came in mad at my 56°. Turns out the wedges were fine and the pitching wedge was the loud one. Separate stair, like they said. I would have grinded the 56° into junk.

Winter recert after the furnace ran for two months. The 8-iron had crept. Marisol made me wait because the heads were cold. I thought that was fussy. The second tick after they warmed up was a different number. Fine. I was wrong.

Hybrid was supposed to be my 4-iron replacement. On the sheet it sat closer to a 3. Darnell would not “make it a 4” with a letter flex. We recut the tip. Now it actually belongs in that slot.

I wanted a driver matched to my irons. They refused, politely, on the phone. I still booked the iron stair. Glad they did not take the other money. The irons were the actual problem.
